Today I happened upon this: Fischerspooner vs. Scissor Sisters - "We Need A Filthy War" which made me decide to finally award the mysterious masher-upper Clever Boy status. Those extra dedicated readers of this blog may have recognised the appearance of one of his mash-ups on the latest Ministry of Jhuny mix, the electro-fab Bootie Wonderland.
In an age when every man's dog can pick up a computer and a handful of MP3s and mash them up, Earworm's potatoes are damn hot. Witness Earworm effortlessly mix Dolly Parton into Pat Benetar without so much as a scratch. And, as a bonus, the mixes come with a message! ie. War is filthy and evil. Woah! Deep!
Unfortunately, besides what he does, there isn't much else I know about him. His website is helpful as buggery. Oh well, no matter. Just keep churning out the mashes.
